Frequently Asked Questions
What is a skill set and how is it different from a full qualification?
A skill set is a group of units of competency from a training package that meets a specific licensing or industry need. Unlike a full qualification, it’s shorter and focuses on specific skills to help you gain employment or upskill quickly.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Yes. Upon successful completion of your skill set or course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, which is a nationally recognised certification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Are your courses nationally accredited?
Absolutely. All our training programs, including skill sets, are nationally accredited and align with the requirements of their respective training packages.
Do I need any prior experience or qualifications to enrol in a skill set?
Many of our skill sets are entry-level and require no prior experience. Some courses may have prerequisites (e.g., a current driver’s licence). These requirements will be listed in the course details.
Can I complete the course online or is it face-to-face only?
While some theory components may be available online or in blended formats, most of our skill sets involve practical, face-to-face training to ensure students gain hands-on experience.
How long does it take to complete a skill set course?
Most skill sets can be completed in 1 to 5 days, depending on the course content, student experience, and training mode.
Is funding or government assistance available for these courses?
Yes, government funding or subsidies may be available for eligible students. Contact us to check your eligibility and learn about current funding options.
Will this course help me get a job?
Definitely. Our skill sets are industry-aligned and designed to give you job-ready skills. Many of our students gain employment in their chosen field shortly after completing their course.
Can employers enrol their staff in your courses?
How do I enrol, and what documents do I need?
You can enrol by contacting us directly via phone, email, or our website. You’ll typically need proof of ID, your USI (Unique Student Identifier), and any other documents listed for the specific course.
